I was blessed with the funds to be able to attend this trip. I am very thankful I was able to go. Personally I think the lodge that was rented could use a lot of updates and maintenance. For example, some of the outlets went out and the door would not shut, which let the cold winter air in. On the first day, the skiis that were assigned to me did not fit, so they had to find more that would fit my feet. As well as the first instructor did not seem to know what he was doing, but the second instructor took time to help me. I didn't like that beverages were not provided, the only thing we had to drink was tap water or to go downstairs to the restaraunt and buy a drink from there. The second day, I woke up and my ankles were swollen. From a pervious injury before this trip. I hated that I wasn't given any poles to learn how to ski with from the equipment center, but not having them did help me with my confidence on skiing. On the third day, I enjoyed walking around the downtown part of New Mexico and seeing new thrift shops and places on the third day. The bridges that we visited were beautiful! I was not able to ski the rest of the trip either, because I learned that skiing was not my thing. I was very thankful to get back to Huntsville after this trip. I enjoyed the late game nights and making new friends along the way! Personally, I think this trip was well worth the money, but I wish there would have been more options to choose from as far as food wise.
