The quantity and variety of academic journals can be overwhelming, and it can be easy to choose the wrong one to submit an article manuscript. Whether you’re new to scholarly publishing, branching out into a new research area, or just looking to broaden your horizons for journal venues, this workshop will highlight why it’s important to avoid the “wrong” journals, what traits make the “right” journals, and provide hands-on experience with specialized tools to support your search for “the one.”

Suggested Audience: Intermediate to Advanced Researchers, such as graduate students and new faculty (but all are welcome to attend)
