Each year around the holidays, the Department of Leadership Initiatives partners with the Boys & Girls Club of Walker County to bring holiday joy to children in the community. Our department adopts children who have provided their wish lists to the Boys and Girls Club, and SHSU students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to stop by the office to select a gift to help fulfill a child's wish. 

Rather than adopting and providing for one child, we divide the different wish items so that there is something to choose from for every budget. Stop by and choose one item, or as many as you like, and help give a child a happy holiday!
