All SHSU Theatre & Musical Theatre programs are by audition/interview only. In-person auditions are from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. Students who are NOT auditioning for Musical Theatre will be dismissed before 5:00pm.

Audition Dates for Spring and Fall 2026 Students

• Friday, October 24, 2025 - Applications due Monday, Oct. 20th
• Friday, January 30, 2026 - Applications due Monday, Jan. 26th
• Friday, March 20, 2026 - Applications due Monday, Mar. 16th
• Virtual Audition

Registration is required.

We also offer a recorded audition option for all our programs of study.
