2026 SHSU Center for Music Education and Texas Bandmasters Association Fall Professional Development Workshop. A joint project between the Texas Bandmasters Association and the Sam Houston State University Center for Music Education, this annual professional development session is a middle school band director-focused workshop. Upon completion, participants will earn six hours of CPE credit. The Texas Bandmasters Association Fall Professional Development Workshop to be held at SHSU - The Woodlands Center, 3380 College Park Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77384.

• Registration begins at 8:30 am, session 1 is from 9am to 11:45am, a lunch break is from 11:45 to 1:15pm, and session 2 is from 1:15 to 4pm.
