The Annual SHSU Contemporary Music Festival boasts a rich tradition over the past 60 years of the celebration, creation, and performance of new music. The festival each spring features SHSU music faculty and student soloists, chamber groups, ensembles, guest performers, and one esteemed composer-in-residence in a series of concerts and lectures. This year's guest composer will be Douglas J. Cuomo, composer of the opera "Doubt" and the Theme for Sex and the City.
