Join the Sam Houston Memorial Museum and Republic of Texas Presidential Library this summer for Saturday Spotlights.  Every Saturday, from June 8 – July 27, museum staff will be on the museum grounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a variety of programs for visitors to learn about life in the 19^th century. 

The Saturday Spotlight for July 13:  A Game of Faro.  A popular card game during Sam Houston’s time, come find out all about the game of Faro!
