Join the Sam Houston Memorial Museum and Republic of Texas Presidential Library this summer for Saturday Spotlights.  Every Saturday, from June 14 – July 26, museum staff will be on the museum grounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a variety of programs for visitors to learn about life in the 19th century.  

On Saturday, July 12, we will be demonstrating the art of dueling in Sam Houston’s lifetime and come see how ice cream was made in the 19th century!
