Safe Zone Workshops provide an opportunity to further explore behaviors and attitudes that are disruptive to maintaining inclusive environments. Safe Zone Workshops also provide the space to practice de-escalation techniques for bystander intervention strategies that confront disparaging comments and behaviors at SHSU. Attendees may complete workshops at anytime and in any order and may be eligible to become program facilitators once all workshop offerings have been completed. Workshops are generally 90 minutes.
