The Mutillidae are a family of more than 7,000 species of wasps whose wingless females resemble large, hairy ants.

Please join us to hear George Waldren present on the Natural History of the Mutillidae. You may know these insects as cow killers or velvet ants. They are very diverse and George comes to Texas straight from the leading lab for mutillid studies in the nation. George recently finished his PhD in entomology at Utah State University
