Each year, the Department of Student Involvement: Leadership & Service, in collaboration with the Departments of Fraternity & Sorority Life, Collaboration & Outreach, and Center for Community Engagement invites students to take part in an MLK Day of Service project. SHSU students may serve at a range of sites, including but not limited to: the Boys & Girls Club of Walker County, Good Shepherd Mission, Huntsville ISD, and other agencies in the Huntsville community.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided to volunteers; all volunteers will also be able to receive a t-shirt! Transportation may be provided or volunteers may carpool to their designated locations - preference will be indicated in registration.
