Austin-based line upon line percussion performs this concert in coordination with the SHSU Contemporary Music Festival. Formed in 2009, line upon line is considered "a riveting, always-surprising and delightful trio" by the Austin American Statesman. The group has premiered numerous works, performed internationally at the Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music (Australia), Open Circuit Festival (Liverpool), and in cities around the world. They also have performed nationally at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention and the Festival of New American Music in California.
