Latin American & Latinx Minor Kick Off

The CHSS Diversity and Inclusion Committee invites faculty, staff, students, and friends to attend any and all of the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations!

The SHSU Ballet Folklorico will kick off the event with a performance followed by a lecture from guest speaker, Dr. Carolina Villarroel. There will also be a discussion "On the Impact of Latinx Organizations on the Diversity and Inclusion on Campus."

Events across campus, including at The Woodlands Center, are sponsored by CHSS, Center for Diversity & Intercultural Affairs, and the Department of World Languages and Cultures. Join us and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through learning, music, food, and more!
