The Department of Mass Communication invites you to submit a short film or creative media work to the Heatwave Media and Film Festival. This call is open to any currently enrolled SHSU student and to any independent Texas filmmaker (including faculty and staff).
Submissions are due by 5 pm on April 15, 2023.
The main Heatwave Media & Film Festival events, including the film screenings and award ceremony, will take place May 2–4, 2023 at 7 p.m. each evening at Old Town Theatre (1023 12th St, Huntsville, TX 77340).
