Become a Haven Diversity Advocate! Haven endeavors to create a more inclusive campus by advocating for and celebrating LGBTQ+ identities, and we provide trainings to help students, faculty, and staff become better allies. In this two-hour training you'll learn about basic vocabulary, the difference between gender identity and sexuality, power and privilege and its effect on marginalized populations, risks and statistics, current laws affecting LGBTQ+ people, and the basics of being an ally.
