To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Grand Canyon National Park in 1919, American photographer Mark Burns has created an extraordinary exhibit of photography. We are pleased to collaborate with SHSU's Center for Law, Engagement, and Politics to bring this exhibit that includes not only black and white photographs but everything from traditional to conceptual images and color landscapes of the Grand Canyon and surrounding area taken between 2011 and 2018. On display from June 11 to September 5, 2019 in the exhibit gallery at the Katy & E. Don Walker, Sr. Education Center on the grounds of the Sam Houston Memorial Museum. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4:30 p.m.
