View mapJoin the Sam Houston Memorial Museum & Republic of Texas Presidential Library for an exhibit reception and artists talk for the photography exhibit Bones of Texas on Thursday, March 9 from 6:00-7:30pm. Artists talk will be at 6:30pm.
Bones of Texas is a photography and storytelling project by photographers Morgan Page and Dustin Rice borne from a shared keen interest in Texas history and an adventurous spirit in exploring Texas landscapes. The exhibit features the natural textures and patterns in Texas’ landscape, and the stark contrast in the dilapidation of the things left behind.
Bones of Texas is on display in the exhibit gallery at the Katy & E. Don Walker, Sr. Education Center at 1402 19th Street.
Exhibit Reception & Artists Talk is free and light refreshments will be served.
