The Diversity Leadership Conference (DLC) is an annual two-day conference hosted by the Center for Diversity & Intercultural Affairs at Sam Houston State University. The upcoming 19th annual Diversity Leadership Conferenced will be held on February 24-25, 2023 at Sam Houston State University. 

Currently, we are seeking proposals for facilitated workshops addressing current events, diversity education/awareness, and leadership development with the broader themes of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Proposals should have clear learning outcomes for DLC attendees. If selected, please be prepared to deliver a workshop up to fifty minutes. 

During the conference, attendees are able to follow a track specific to the areas below. Think about which track(s) your workshop proposal would fall under: 

• Social Justice & Activism
• Identity & Personal Development
• Leadership Development
• Advisor/Graduate Student Track
