Join the Department of Student Involvement: Leadership & Service at Huntsville Church of Christ as we help make the All About Kids Expo a success for CASA of Walker, San Jacinto, & Trinity Counties!

The All About Kids Expo will showcase the possibilities for the youth in our community! More than 80 businesses & organizations will share their info. Athletic leagues, summer camps, financial assistance, school physicals, party places, church activities, school options, and so much more!  In addition, there will be a special Kids Zone with a rock wall, train, archery, face painting and so much more AND a Food Zone with several food trucks and vendors to provide tasty treats.

**See important notes below about registration and event specifics**

• There will be multiple shifts available for volunteers to sign up for; please note that the first and last 15 minutes of each shift is for transportation to and from the site. 
  • Parking is not available on-site, so all registered volunteers must ride in the designated vehicles. Transportation will be provided by Student Involvement staff.
  • Volunteers will meet outside of the Johnson Coliseum by the flag poles (where apartment shuttles usually pick-up/drop-off). Note that the start time designated in the shifts is when we must be driving off from campus. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early. If you are not there by the shift time, we will have to leave regardless.
• Volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts if they'd like.
• All volunteers should wear an SHSU t-shirt of their choosing for the event.
• Volunteer needs range throughout the day, with the below as some examples:
  • Directing guests on-site
  • Photo booth
  • Face painting
  • Jewelry design
  • Trash pick-up
  • Tear-down after the event
  • Floaters for miscellaneous needs
• There will be a volunteer meeting on Monday, April 15, that is hosted by CASA. This meeting is not mandatory, but volunteers are welcome to attend on their own if they'd like to. The meeting will be at 5:15 PM at the Huntsville Church of Christ - for questions specifically about this meeting, please contact Laura Green (l.green@casaofwalkercounty.org).
