Celebrate the music of esteemed English composer Benjamin Britten with performances from faculty and students of Sam Houston State University School of Music. Curated by tenor Tony Boutté who studied with Sir Peter Pears, Britten's life partner of over 30 years and premier performer of the composer's music. 

Each semester, the School of Music hosts recitals to celebrate the work of musicians and provide valuable experience for students to excel in full performances, auditions, competitions, and juries. 

This recital is open to the public with free admission.
