9th Period – back to school vintage market
About this Event
Lowman Student Center, 1717 Avenue J, Huntsville, TX 77340
My name is Tega Okperuvwe, co-founder of 9th House Vintage Market, a student-led fashion collective that curates vintage events centered around creativity, affordability, and community.
We are proposing a Back-to-School Vintage Market called "9th Period," to be held on Tuesday, August 20th, from 2:00–7:30 PM at Frank Parker Plaza. The event will feature a curated $20 Fill-a-Bag section, vendor booths from local student/resident sellers, and music to enhance the atmosphere. We anticipate a laid-back, retro-themed experience that offers students an affordable way to build their wardrobe, connect with local creatives, and ease into the semester.
We would love to partner with Student Life to help promote the event and ensure all necessary protocols and space usage guidelines are followed. A full proposal is attached below.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Warm regards,
Tega Okperuvwe
