Sam Houston State University

100th Annual Tree of Light Ceremony

Join the Department of Student Activities in one of the oldest traditions at Sam Houston State University, The Tree of Light Ceremony!

Participate in "Happy Holidays", hosted by the Center for Diversity & Intercultural Affairs, that shows the importance of each religious holiday celebrated during this time.

Enjoy FREE giveaways, photo stations, drinks and snacks!

Everyone is invited to "trim the tree" and place a decorated ornament on the Tree of Light.

We will then watch as the University President, Alisa White, lights the tree and celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season!
