I would of loved to see the tree lighting event up front and personal, but the way the can drive for a tshirt was set up seemed like poor planning to me. Those of us that stood in line for over an hour for a free shirt were then told to drop our cans to sprint or run across campus to get a tshirt at a different location and then wouldnt be guaranteed a shirt was a bit ridiculous in my opinion. Why not have a certain amount of tickets to give away for the amount of shirts. Then you knew who was going to get a shirt and who wasn't. It seemed unfair to those who came out early to get a shirt and give food and then those who waited to the last minute to do so. As a first year on campus student and not knowing alot about how the program worked due to limited info given, I would have like to known that the ornaments were supposed to be at least 1ft tall. So that when I am hanging an ornament that is barely 3 inches people aren't laughing at me.

I've been in Huntsville for over 10 years and this was my 1st time to attend the Annual Tree of Light. Great experience and our 3 year old son loved it! Looking forward to next year!
